Secretaría Pro Tempore The pro tempore secretary’s office is the technical body designated by the national member institutions of the country responsible for organising each edition of the summit. The location of the pro tempore secretary’s office for each edition is designated by consensus of the preceding plenary council from among the nominations that are presented. In accordance with the current rules of operation, the pro tempore secretary’s office is responsible for organising the plenary council and, accordingly, the permanent and pro tempore secretaries coordinate their actions from the beginning of each edition.
